The over the borders of Germany popular Nitro-West series visited the EVMC Velp RC Raceway in the Netherlands for Round #4. The track layout with its flowing layout made for some exciting racing and it was although the summer holiday time another successful event with 43 entries. The weather forecast was perfect with 2 days at around the 30 C* mark.

The finals would be all around tire and fuel strategy. As the track wears the tire alot on the right side, the flowing layout with some fast corners make it hard to hit the 5 minute mark with no refueling.
SMI/XRAY Germany driver Thilo Tödtmann took the win in the 1/10th open class with a steady fast run, refueling every 4:15 with Andreas Weyhoven finish in 2nd, 2 laps down, making nearly 6 minutes pitstops and Marco Muscara another lap down on 3rd making it a clean-sweep podium finish for XRAY.
